Chelsea, Sauber agree to partnership deal (The Associated Press)
LONDON (AP) The lucrative worlds of soccer and Formula One joined forces Monday when Chelsea and Sauber announced a deal that shed light on the unexplained inscriptions on the Swiss team’s cars at recent races. The partnership will see the Champions League finalists and Sauber exchange knowledge in sport science, launch joint commercial initiatives, and share merchandising, marketing and sponsorship opportunities. Chelsea’s crest will appear on Sauber’s cars beginning with next week’s Spanish Grand Prix, while the Premier League club will show the Sauber logo on advertising boards and interview walls at its home matches, with the aim of increasing the market presence of the teams outside their own sports
Manchester United Move 8-Points Clear- a Fan’s Take (Yahoo! Contributor Network)

Roberto Mancini hopes for Carlos Tevez return as he praises Manchester City players following 1-0 win over Aston Villa (Goal.com)
Roberto Mancini has once again opened the door for Carlos Tevez to return to Manchester City after admitting that the striker could be back in training next week. The Argentine has been a controversial figure since apparently refusing to enter the field of play in a 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League and has since been the center of constant transfer speculation, with Inter, AC Milan and Paris Saint-German interested. Mancini said after the Bayern defeat that Tevez would never play for the club again but has since softened his stance and will offer him another chance to resume his City career.
Sevilla sack coach Marcelino after poor run (Reuters)
MADRID, Feb 6 (Reuters) – Sevilla have sacked coach Marcelino Garcia after a poor run of games in which they have slipped down to 11th in the standings, the La Liga club said on Monday. Sunday’s 2-1 home defeat to struggling Villarreal, who had not won on the road this season, means Sevilla have not won a league game since early December. “Sevilla took the decision to sack first-team coach Marcelino this morning due to the negative run of results that has seen them go seven matches without winning and collect only two points,” the Andalucian side said in a statement.
