Chile set to host 2015 Copa America (Goal.com)
Follow Goal.com on The Chilean Football Federation (ANFP) has announced that it has reached an agreement with its Brazilian counterpart (CBF), and will host the 2015 Copa America. The five-time World Cup winner was next in line to host the competition, which would be its first time since 1989, but will wait until 2019 after a meeting between the two federations on Friday. CBF president Jose Maria Marin noted that the move will prevent further changes to the season calendar, which will have to be altered in the next four years as a result of the country hosting the Confederations Cup, the World Cup and the Olympic Games
